Sometimes your loved one may need a temporary option for 24-hour assistance. COGIR Respite Care is perfect for shorter stays-ensuring a safe and secure environment where our highly-trained staff will oversee medication management, help with daily tasks, and all of the other thoughtful, discrete care offered to Assisted Living residents.
A SENSE OF BELONGING
As a visitor, your loved one will immediately become part of the COGIR community. From sharing a chef-prepared, nutritionist-approved meal with a new friend to enjoying appropriate activities and excursions, your senior will feel right at home. In fact, many seniors find that a short-term stay is great way to discover the rewards of becoming a full-time resident.
THE GIFT OF HEALING
From recuperating after surgery to a temporary refuge from a fire or flood, a short-term stay provides a safe and secure option for your loved one to take the necessary time to heal. With the help of a full-time professional caregiver, your loved one can focus on getting better instead of managing medications, preparing meals, or spending time on daily tasks. Respite Care is also a gift to those who give so much to their loved ones, offering time for family and friends to focus on their health, knowing that those who depend on them are in the best of hands.
Because every resident is unique, we offer a range of services
from occasional assistance to comprehensive support.
My brother found and picked Cogir of Queen Anne Senior Living. We went up there and helped my mom moved in. We saw the rooms, tried the food, and met the staff. The food was very tasty and the service was great. They were restricted somewhat because of Covid-19. They had a beautiful courtyard in the middle of the facility with a fountain. It must be a half acre that was really appealing, vegetable garden, and people were able to go out there, hang out and talk. I would recommend them!- C.C. (Caring.com)
Our Activities Director is professional, personable, and full of energy! She is always available......completing all kinds of activities; drives the bus; knows all residents and is always fun to be around. She completes the monthly calendar with events and outings. Often she cooks a special item for residents to eat in the Activities Room. At Happy Hour she will be serving and dancing with residents. She is a special lady and deserves recognition.- Lyn Garner (A Place for Mom)
The Activities here are amazing! So varied, learning, fitness, trips, health, lectures, social events, socializing. So glad we moved here to be part of all this. Special events like Cinco De Mayo, music...- Sue (A Place for Mom)
